The QF's have all been going as expected.
WI have not won against teams in the top 8 since 2009. You cannot expect them to beat Pak. Only blip was the way in which they bent over.
India were favorites against Aus. But Ponting took the wrong opportunity to strike form and send some shivers. But then victory with more than 15 balls to spare must be termed convincing when chasing more than 250 in a knockout tournament.
SA as expected choked. I made this pic long before the World Cup began. I knew it.

After the Ind v Aus QF - Dhoni a man of many masterstrokes and no cricket strokes

அருமையா ஆடினான்யா யுவராஜ். இது போதும் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவுக்கு. 2003 Final has been avenged . ஆனா இதுலயும் நம்ம தோனி அண்ணன் நல்லா காமிச்சருயா. Helicopter shot  தான் அடிச்சான் ஆனா தரைல பறக்குற Helicopter shot ஆஹி போச்சு. நல்ல வேளை India win ஆனதுனால பொளச்சான். இல்லனா இன்னைக்கு பேப்பர் எல்லாம் அவனை கிழிச்சி இருப்பாங்க!

After the QF1 - Is Imran Khan deaf or too excited?

I was watching Imran Khan on CNN-IBN yesterday. The host asked a simple question.
"Pakistan will now come to India and will stay in India for almost 2 weeks if they win the semifinal in Mohali. Do you think it is time to show the friendship to the team and bring in some cordiality in cricket relations between the two countries?"
And "supposed to be most intelligent" Imran replied, "You know if I was in Dhoni's shoes I will be worried. No offence to Australia". Come on Immi I thought you were intelligent! But then when someone enters politics this happens.
He didn't stop there. There was another question, "How important would winning the World Cup be for Pakistan cricket given the way it has gone over the past 24 months?"  and he replied, "You know I am really tensed now. I don't know what is going to happen".

South Africa தவிர மீதி எல்லா teamமும் சும்மா Fill in the Blanksக்காக தான் QFல இருக்கீங்கனா! 

ஆனா கடைசில என்ன ஆஹும்னு தெரியுமானா ? South Africaவும் QFla வெளிய போயடுவாங்கனா. அப்புறம் என்னனா? ரூட் clear ஆஹிடும்னா. Final வரைக்கும் போயி எங்க வயித்த கலக்கி... நடக்கட்டும் நடக்கட்டும்னா. அப்படியாவது எதாவது பன்னுங்கனா!

வச்சானா ஆப்பு? இது வரைக்கும் எந்த டீமும் இப்படி தெனரல. ஆனா முடிவுல வடிவேலு மாதிரி நல்லா ஆக்டிங் குடுத்தாங்கடா எல்லாரும். Commentator கங்குலில இருந்து interviewல கம்பீர் வரைக்கும் எல்லாரும் "கீழ விழுந்தாலும் மீசைல மண் ஓட்டலடா" ங்கர rangeல  தான் பேசுரானுக. இவனுக உருப்படுர மாதிரி தெரியல! சவுத் ஆப்ரிக்கா அடுத்து ஆப்பு வைக்க காத்துட்டு இருக்காங்க. முழு கோழி ஒடம்பெல்லாம் தானே மசாலா தடவிகிட்டு வந்து நிக்கிற மாதிரி நாக்பூர்ல match  வச்சி இருக்காங்க. Steyn அண்ட் Morkel already விருந்துக்கு ரெடி ஆஹி இருப்பாங்க. நம்ம தோனி எப்பவும் போல ரெடியா?

Before the NL Match - 3 weeks late

I got 3 weeks late on this!! No time :-(

The Netherlands match has just started and MSD and India have once again pulled the rat from the hat.
